Fun in Arkansas

This week we traveled the 9 1/2 hours to visit my family in Arkansas. We decided after going to Murfreesboro a few weeks ago that we would drive during the night. Reagan has decided that she does not like her car seat and so she is not very fun to be around in the truck. So we left at 5:00 and she ended up taking a nap then woke up when we got out to eat and then she went to sleep for the night. So much more peaceful that way. Justin and I even got to listen to a book on tape. We had a GREAT time with my family, the only thing that would make it better was if Luke were there. But we did get to talk to him on Skype. Here are some of the things we did while there.
Growing up me and my mom and sister would do our "Saturday thing." This usually included shopping and going out to eat. This Saturday Reagan got to join us for her first saturday thing. We ate Chinese and hit a few stores.

She loved going on the 4 wheeler. She would grab somebody by the hand (usually Laura) and lead them to the door to indicate that she wanted to ride. This happened several times a day!

We ate Sunday lunch at one of my favorite restaurants there.

Laura bought Reagan a pool to go swimming in.

Reagan enjoyed going to Poppys garden and picking vegetables. She would get a tomato and Poppy would dust it off for her and she would eat it right then. She also liked the cucumbers and zucchini. She didnt wait for me to cut them up, she dug right in and ate them like a pickle. (I did wash those first)

Dad has a horse and Reagan was sooo excited to see it. She walked in the pen, shut the gate, and went right up to the horse and wanted to pet it.

Reagan loves Laura so much. They are such good buddies (I think because Laura spoils her rotten!)

In the mornings before it got too hot we would go to the playground and play. I rode the merry go round with her, went around twice and got sick. Me and Laura also tried reliving our childhood by playing on the bars. We used to be able to flip and do all kinds of tricks. I tried and got turned upside down and couldn't get down! Man, I am getting old.

Reagan had her first watermelon. She loved it so much I think she ate her weight in it.

Nana and Reagan enjoyed going on walks together.

My crazy husband

I hope this gives everyone a good laugh, it did me!! Justin decided to grow a beard (which I hate when he does this!) and when he decides to shave it, it goes in stages. The first is usually a goatee, which I compain about as well because it is too prickly. But he informs me that several women complimented him on it (Thanks alot Karen. lol) The second stage is the foo man shu (sp?), then the flava. Whatever! So to get in the mood of this foo man shu he dons his hulkamania shirt and does all these crazy moves.

What a good sport Laura is.

He even trys to get Reagan in the spirit.
