July at the Jenningses

Well it is almost that time....oh I don't even know if I can write it, SCHOOL! But we have had a great summer, it has just gone by way too fast. I have enjoyed being with Reagan every day, and am thankful that I have a job that allows me to do that for 2 months plus other breaks and vacations. Now that school is starting I am starting the countdown to our vacation in October over fall break! Here are some things that we have been doing in July:
Daddy wanted Reagan to help sort golf balls, instead she wanted to use him as a jungle gym.
Then she wanted to help me put away the laundry. Please ignore the mess!!!

She enjoyed helping daddy with his puzzle.

Loved going to church to learn about Je (thats how she says Jesus).

Helped mommy in the kitchen. This morning we were making french toast.

Visited with our friends Jeff, Kristy, Brooks, and Braden

Aggravated Austin

Had her first taste of ice cream!

Played with and in her water table!

Yummm...ate her some good corn on the cob.

And had a happy 4th

The Little Gym and Chuck E. Cheese

Justin and I decided that on the way to North Carolina we would make a day just for Reagan. Our first stop was The Little Gym in Knoxville. She tumbled, sang, climbed, bounced and had a great time. From there we visited Chuck E. Cheese for her first time. She enjoyed riding the rides but did not like seeing Chuck. She screamed and ran away! To end her special day we went swimming at the hotel.

We stopped at one of the little markets on the side of the road and while Justin and I were talking to the man Reagan reached up and snagged her some blackberries. They must have been good from the looks of it.

Lake Lure, North Carolina

Justin and his family (grandparents, aunt, uncle, and cousins) have been going to Lake Lure, North Carolina for many, many years. The men have a golf tournament and the women relax, go to the pool and the lake, and go shopping. In the afternoons we meet up to hang out, swim, eat, and play games. This year was by far my favorite. Reagan had such a great time and enjoyed all sorts of new things. We had fun swimming at the lake and going to my favorite new museum KidSenses in Rutherdforton, NC. It is an interactive kids museum and the kids played for hours. I think the adults wore down before they did! It will for sure be a yearly thing.
At the Mexican restaurant, she cooked us up some good grub. (We went to an actual Mexican restaurant for lunch and she had her first taste of chips and salsa. She loved it!)

Testing the merchandise at the "Little Family Dollar".

Aren't these carts cute??

She loved the firetruck and the noises it made.

She and her cousin Mark played for a while in the bubble room. I think she ended up drinking some of the bubble mixture. Oops.

Mark became Reagans new best friend. She calls him Ma and they were kissing buddies. He couldn't resist her chubby cheeks and would pull her close and kiss her. So cute!
After we got tired of chasing her around the 4 different swimming pools we decided it might be easier at the lake. She LOVED it. She would stay out there all day if we let her. She played in the sand for the longest and then would wade out until the water was up to her mouth and we would bring her back to the shore.

What a beautiful view.

This little girl came up to me at the pool and she said "Boy, she sure does have some meat on her bones!" Check out that belly!

Reagan liked that she could just walk into this pool and also enjoyed getting under the "mushrooms".

Lunch with Grandmother and Grandmommy.
Since the men have their time together Shirley takes the women out for a ladies lunch. Reagan got to enjoy it this year.
