We have had such a wonderful holiday season this year. We have been richly blessed with wonderful family and friends.
It has been a busy week. Justins grandparents and aunt, uncle, and cousins came in from North Carolina Friday and we enjoyed spending time with them. The weather was great and we enjoyed being outside Friday. Sunday we traveled to Knoxville to celebrate with Justin's aunt Linda and family (I forgot my camera so I dont have any pics of that day) and Tuesday we had our annual Christmas "hunt" with the Jennings family. Christmas day Justin and I enjoyed opening gifts from each other (he spoiled me again this year), and then we went to see Marley and Me at the movies - it was so good but we both cried twice!
Larry explaining the game this year. He takes this very seriously and plans all year for what he will make us do to get our gifts. Needless to say, it is very entertaining!
Larry telling the Christmas story to Austin. Austin was so excited to open gifts he could barely sit still.
Justins Aunt Karen and cousin Matthew.
The kids enjoyed playing with the boxes.
One thing that Uncle Mike got Justin this year was a bug zapper. It looks like a mini tennis racket and packs a lot of punch (We know this because Wood could not resist and stuck his hand on it!) So Justin and his cousins go looking for bugs that night and had fun zapping them. The next night I went to the garage and noticed several bugs in there, so I told Justin about it. Later I went back out to the garage - and I wish I had a picture of this - but he was standing in the back of his truck bed with the zapper and an umbrella (I don't know what that was for) waiting for the bugs to get close enough to zap. It was very funny - until he about broke the garage light! It does not take much to entertain us!
