Reagans One!

I can't believe my baby is one. It seems like just yesterday we were at the hospital awaiting her arrival. Time has flown by, but we have enjoyed every minute of it! We have had such a wonderful year with Reagan filled with lots of family, fun, church, baseball, football, and basketball games, holiday fun, a new cousin, trips to NC, AR, Pigeon Forge, and much much more. We feel so blessed to have Reagan in our lives and thank God every day for her.

Snow Fun!

What is better than a birthday party? A birthday party and SNOW! We told Reagan that God even decorated for her party. This was the first time since college that we have had enough snow to sled and we took advantage of it. Reagan even got in on the action.

You have to have hot cocoa (and in Reagans case milk) after a hard morning sledding.
Reagan was worn out from all the fun and needed a Nana nap.

Let's Party

It really was a Winter ONEderland. We ordered the snow and got some for the party. We didn't have to do that much decorating because we had the beautiful snow for a background! Unfortunately, that meant that some of our guests couldn't make it because the roads were so icy. We had fun anyway and enjoyed spending time with both sets of grandparents and Aunt Laura.
Brrr...we needed a hot chocolate bar.

Reagan and our snowman cake had a matching tutu.

The Cake

Reagan is so good at sharing her things, she even shared her cake with Poppy and and Mommy.
Yum, Yum

Our guests that could make it to the party.

Happy Birthday Reagan!

Reagan was very timid at first about eating her cake, but after she realized that she was not going to get in trouble she went after it. (This year I have been very careful about what she has eaten so I was dreading giving her a WHOLE cake so I made a low-fat white cake made with applesauce and egg whites and a whipped icing. It was really good.)

The Toys

We got her a picnic table and she has climbed over it, under it, and on top of it!

Look at all those toys!

Daddy got her a golf set with the hope that she will one day learn to play and be his golf buddy.

Aunt Carmen got us all monogrammed aprons for Reagans' kitchen. I asked Justin if this meant he would start cooking for us!

Ahoy Matey!

Our pirate ship has arrived! One day we were driving through Athens and saw this pirate ship and noticed the sign that it was 45% off so we went to check it out. Justin was so excited that I had to act like the adult and ask questions about it while he played. We were going to wait awhile to buy Reagan a playset but we couldn't pass up this good deal. (You know what bargain shoppers we are!) We are glad we got it because Reagan can already enjoy it. Today was such a beautiful day (68 degrees, I loved it) that we decided to try it out.
She is such a daredevil that before I could pick her up and sit her on the slide she dove and went head first. She loved it and wanted to do it over and over.

Inside the bottom of the ship. I can't wait to camp out in there.

Snow day

Last week school got cancelled for the big snow that they were predicting (we didn't get much but were happy to get out of school anyway). This is the first snow that Reagan has got to enjoy. The first time she was too young and the last she was sick. She didn't know what to think of it. She fell down and looked at her hands like what is this.
